A Coffee Drinkers Review of the Nespresso D290

If you love espresso like I do, then the Nespresso D290 Concept Espresso and Coffeemaker is a must-have at home.  This is because it features a unique system that is crucial for making a perfect cup of espresso. I have found it extremely easy to use, and I think you would have no problem operating it. As it uses capsules, you can have a variety of different types of coffee to choose from each day.

The Nespresso D290 is equipped with a 19 bars high pressure pump which is able to draw out all the aromas from the coffee and can also give you a smooth crema in your cup. Furthermore, it has electronic temperature regulation which is able to heat water up to exact temperatures of 187 degrees and 196 degrees during extraction. One of my favorite features is that extra water is emptied, and thus you will have fresh water for each cup of espresso or coffee.

Cleaning up is also a breeze with the Nespresso D290. It is able to eject used capsules automatically and there is a tray to collect used capsules. There is a light that shows when the tray is full and ready to empty.

In addition, the Nespresso D290 features a great looking design which looks modern. Hence, it will definitely look great sitting on your kitchen counter. Therefore, if you want to have great tasting espresso every morning, do get the Nespresso D290 Concept Espresso and Coffeemaker today.

Nespresso D290 Espresso Machines

The Nespresso D290 Espresso Machine
is an automatic coffee and espresso maker that uses coffee-filled capsules. They also have built in milk frothing nozzles.

This machine makes a 4oz coffee, one at a time. This isn't too bad since it is primarily an espresso machine after all. You can fill the water tank and get 5-6 cups that are 6 oz out of it before needing to refill it.

This coffeemaker is known for it's aromatic and wonderful tasting coffee. It may not be for those who love to purchase and grind their own beans. It is designed to be a time-saver and it is well-known for being super easy to clean up after as well.

You have to order the coffee pods online which can be a bit inconvenient. There are 12 flavors to choose from however. You can buy a little or a lot and experiment to find your favorite flavors. There should be something to suit everyone.

The coffee itself takes only seconds to prepare. If you want a latte or cappucino you press the steam button, stick the tube into a glass of milk and press the lever. It's cool to watch the machine suck the milk up and then deposit a hot, foamy mixture into the glass.

So, the Aeroccino milk frother is said to work quite well and be easy to clean up. The fact that you can heat and froth your milk in a few seconds makes it extremely easy to use.

Check out a few of the coffee flavors available:

Espresso Type:

Ristretto - typical Italian espresso that is full bodied and intense.

Volluto - Light roasted with subtle body with a hint of biscuit notes and redolent of cereal.

Decaffeinato: a light and delicate decaffeinated blend that strikes a balance between acidity and mildness. Hints of fruit and wine notes.

Lungo: (larger cup)

Vivalto: intense coffee with floral notes that is lightly acidic.

Finezzo: Light bodied blend with citrus notes and a hind of cereal.

These are just a hint of some the flavors you can get for this coffee maker.

In addition to being easy to use the Nespresso D290 looks good on the kitchen counter with it's streamlined modern chrome design. I happen to be partial to the red one myself.
